Every book teaches you something. Some have good stories, some have great characters, some have amazing plots and, some are just a one time read. For me books are a very personal thing. Any book is an escape for a reader to the world of his/her own thoughts and plots. After reading her first novel, Everybody has a story, I turned into a self-sold fan of Savi Sharma and her idea of being oneself. One of the most prominent reasons for me to read the second book became was the fact that I loved the first one way too much.
But looks like the tables did turn my interest. This review I wanted to publish somewhere in 2018 end but I just didn’t come across what to write since I struggled a bit to finish the book. Savi Sharma, where covers the story beautifully in the thread of 4 main characters, somehow I wasn’t able to relate every closely to it, unlike I did earlier.
The book starts with a good and relating situation. Shaurya, for me, was anybody living in India. Burdened by the beliefs of their parents, working towards their parents goals than themselves – Shaurya’s character was drowned in the parent-fearing generation. His life was a constant battle field.
